Suitcase Learning app for iPhone and iPad

The Suitcase app gives you access to student support materials 24/7. This extensive range of resources cover a wide variety of topics and so addresses most of the issues students are likely to encounter. Access is easy once you have your colleges login details and then you can find out whatever information you might need: to produce coursework or research, manage relationships or money, apply to UCAS or an apprenticeship. There are quizzes to try out as well as develop your skills profile to find out what kind of learner you are and how this affects your employability.

Topics are organised under 6 categories:

• Calendar events (such as Black History Month)
• Issue-based topics (like Euthanasia)
• Community themes (including bullying prevention)
• Personal and Social issues (such as how to live independently)
• Learning Support (find out how to improve your critical thinking)
• Careers and Employability (get help in promoting yourself in job applications)

Each session links to a Prezi so you can explore topics in the way that suits you best. Its like having your personal tutor on your mobile device!
